【ブルドッグのビリーの物語】

ビリーというブルドッグがいました。
ビリーはちいさな王国の王様で、みんなからとても愛されていました。

ビリーはいつもお気に入りの水玉模様の蝶ネクタイをつけています。
「犬に蝶ネクタイなんて珍しいね」と言われることもありますが、
ビリーにはそれがとてもよく似合っていました。

ビリーの目は、とても大きくやさしい光を持っていて、
ビリーに見つめられると不思議と心が落ち着いたりうれしくなったりします。

そんなビリーにも、ひとつだけ困ったところがありました。
それは…息がとても、とてもクサいことです。
近くで「ふぅ」と息を吐かれると、誰でも目がぐるぐるしてしまうほどでした。

でも、ビリーはその息をうまく使っていました。
例えば、庭には毎日たくさんの雑草が生えてきます。
ビリーは庭にでて、雑草に向かって「ふぅーっ」と息を吹きかけると、
雑草はしゅん、としぼんでなくなってしまうのです。

ビリーの息のおかげで、お庭はいつもきれいで花が咲き、鳥が遊びに来ました。
ビリーは蝶ネクタイを直しながら「今日もいい日だね」が口癖です。
ビリーはちょっと変わっているけれど、心がやさしくて、みんなに愛される王様なんです。

Billy the Bulldog was king of the land
He was king of the animals and king of the man

He was a super snappy dresser with his special bow tie
Unusual on a pooch but it looked pretty fly

He had heaps good abilities because of his big ole eyes
When he gazed deep into yours you were hypnotised

He could get you to do anything, anything at all
Oftentimes random things like sitting on a ball

One thing he was infamous for was his horrid breath
If you copped a face full it could mean certain death

He loved to tend to his garden in the palace grounds
He’d kill all the weeds with his breath so foul

Thus goes the tale of a pooch called Bill
With the magical eyes and the breath so ill
