【犬のラテの物語】

かつて、コーヒー好きな家庭で育てられたベティという幼いワンちゃんがいました。

ベティは少し大きくなると、人間の両親のためにコーヒーを淹れ始め、
その腕前はとても優れていました。

そのうちだれもが彼女のことを「ラテ」と呼び始めました。
なぜなら、ベティのラテは最高だったからです。

毎年開催されるシドニーに住む「犬のコーヒー作り選手権」に出場するたび、
ラテはラテ部門で常に1位か2位を獲得しました！

時折1位になることもあるロジャーという別の犬もいました。
ラテとロジャーはバチバチなライバルで、
あまり仲良しではありませんでした。

ラテは「ラテ・ラテ」という超人気のコーヒーショップを開き、
スタッフはすべて犬で運営されました。
お客さんで来る犬たちは行儀よくしていれば、
飼い主を中に入れることが許されたコーヒーショップでした。

Once there was a young doggy called Betty who grew up in a coffee loving household and when she got a little older she started making coffee for her human parents and she became so good at it everyone started calling her Latte because her lattes were the best around. It was totally true because whenever she entered the Annual Sydney Doggy Coffee Making Championships (ASDCMC) she always came first or second place in the latte category. There was another dog called Roger who sometimes took first place and they had a fierce rivalry and didn't like each other so much. Latte ended up opening a super popular coffee shop called 'Lattes Lattes' and all the staff were dogs and the dog patrons were even allowed to bring their humans inside if they behaved themselves.⁣
